An Ozone Destructor is simply a glass tube filled with a catalyst. The tube has a male luer lock inlet at one end and a perforated outlet at the other end. The ozone passes through the catalyst and the 3 bound oxygen molecules (O3) are converted back to 2 oxygen molecules (O2).
The ozone destructor can be found built inside some ozone machines but a free standing one is necessary if:
a. The ozone generator does not have one built-in
b. When ozonating oils or ozonating water
